Weeran Spring Bull Sale 2011

E614

SPRING FIELD DAY FOR WEERAN ANGUS

Weeran Angus is holding a beef field day on Friday 2nd September, at 9am, to give our existing and new clients the opportunity to inspect the powerful run of sale bulls being offered on Wednesday 7th September at 1pm.

This field day will give clients the opportunity to view the sale bulls in a relaxed atmosphere, and discuss their breeding requirements for their program and how Weeran can assist them to achieve the results that our clients want.

40 Performance recorded bulls will be on display who have been specifically selected for this sale. 50 of their siblings went under the hammer very successfully in February, 2011.

The spring sale group is an even representation of our total 2011 sale drop. Included in this sale, are the elite Weeran sires used as yearlings in spring 2010, who have been specifically retained for this sale. This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase our Best!

Sale bulls are sired by Sitz New Design 458N, Nichols Extra K205, B/R Ambush A28, B/R 65R Genesis, Lawson’s Dinky Di Z191, Weeran Boomerang B59, Weeran Chicken on a Chain C195, and other leading sires. Sitz 458N and Nichols Extra K205 are both very prominent sires in the sale.

Nichols Extra was selected as an out cross sire with proven data & who would pass on muscle & body capacity. Sitz 458N is an excellent long fed bull with a pedigree very similar to Lawson’s Dinky Di, which are infusing their genetic traits into our program. Sitz 458N has performed very well within our herd, & has also been used heavily worldwide & is now no longer available.

Weeran’s breeding objective is to produce high performance, growth cattle with high marbling carcasses, and females which are fertile and functional.

Longstanding clients, Nick & Yvonne Falkenberg of Mepungah Pastoral Co, Wannon have been purchasing Weeran genetics since 1996. “Weeran sires produce calves which are consistent, can do it tough and will stack weight on quickly in the right conditions. We always advertise any cattle we sell as Weeran blood and I believe the stock demand a premium in doing so. The Weeran after sales service is fantastic”, said Nick.
